Website privacy notice

Effective .

This notice describes how Vectro IT handles information through its website, contact form, live chat, and remote-support link. Separate agreements may govern services provided to existing clients.

Information you provide

The contact form asks for your name, email address, message, and optional company name and phone number. Live chat asks for your name, email address, inquiry category, and messages. We use this information to respond to your request, arrange support, and keep records of our communication.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through these forms or chat. Ask your technician for an appropriate secure method when sensitive information is necessary.

Technical information and browser storage

Our hosting and security providers process connection and request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, requested pages, and verification results, to deliver the website and help prevent abuse.

Live chat stores a session identifier and access credential in your browser tab's session storage to reconnect that tab to its conversation. Ending the chat closes the session; closing the tab normally clears that tab's storage. Browser settings and session restoration can affect storage behavior.

This website does not include advertising pixels or third-party audience analytics. Cloudflare security services may use cookies or similar technology for verification.

Providers involved in your request

Our support integration temporarily stores messages and delivery records on a Vectro-managed computer. Access to support conversations is limited to authorized staff and the services used to handle them. Provider processing locations depend on our account settings and may be outside your location.

Retention and copies of correspondence

The temporary chat service expires website sessions after 12 hours and removes expired session records during routine processing. Contact-form tickets follow the separate email and Autotask workflow rather than the temporary chat store.

These temporary-store limits do not delete copies in email, Autotask, Teams, Static Forms, provider logs, or backups. Those copies have separate retention settings. Closing a browser or ending a chat does not erase the conversation from staff records.

Our retention policy is indefinite for contact-form submissions, support email, Autotask tickets, Teams conversations, Vectro-managed logs, and backups. We do not assign these records a fixed deletion period under this policy. Actual availability of records held by providers, including provider-managed logs, depends on their retention settings and service limits.

Questions, corrections, and requests

You can choose not to submit a form or start chat and can contact us by phone instead. To ask about information you have supplied, request a correction, or request deletion, email info@vectro.it or call (203) 546-8613. We may need to verify your identity before discussing a record. Applicable rights and any retention obligations depend on the request and relevant law.

Mike Monks is responsible for handling privacy requests received through the contact details above.

Remote support and external links

The remote-support page sends your Quick Connect ID to the external support portal when you continue. The ID is not stored in this website's application, although the destination provider may process it to arrange the session. Only join a session arranged with a technician you trust.

Social-media links and the remote-support portal open services with their own privacy terms. This notice does not describe activity you perform on those external services.
